      What is the point of an aggressor telling people that they were being attacked? They want us to
      1 – laugh at them
      2 – know that FAFO is real
      3 – know they are crying for help?

      Yeah? If Russia is the one receiving, so what? Putin has done more harm against Ukrainian civilians than Ukraine harming Russian civilians.

      Besides, Russia is the one who started this invasion. If you attack, you will be attacked back.

      No country will just take it without putting up a fight. Be happy Ukraine is too busy knocking out Russia’s war fighting capability than attacking Russian civilians.

      From the article it looks like Russia claimed to have *intercepted* 221 drones. From the same article, it seems like at least one drone hit a target (a bus with some military personnel). Although, we also have video evidence of drones hitting targets (eg. oil storage). So, even if we trust Russia to have downed that many drones, there must’ve been more that were actually launched.

      So these drones look like V1 Rockets. I know Reddit likes to cream their pants that drone warfare is some kind of breakthrough but this shit has been going on since 1944

      I believe I read a report saying they were now able to produce 100,000 drones a year. That averages out to 274 a day. I think 222 every day till Russia retreats is a pretty good average, with some left in reserve for special occasions.

      So what? You’re at war. Now if they target residential buildings and kill civilians like Russia’s drones do on a weekly if not daily basis, that would not be OK.
