      >Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) said Thursday that President Trump could show he’s “serious” about wanting to stop political violence by overturning pardons he issued for those convicted in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.

      >“If the president is serious about stopping political violence, then maybe he should start by rescinding the pardons for all the domestic terrorists who came to the Capitol on Jan. 6 to kill cops, to kill Speaker Pelosi, to kill — to kill Vice President Pence,” Moulton told CNN’s Kate Bouldan on “CNN News Central,” in a clip highlighted by Mediaite.

      >“Let’s have an honest conversation about the origins of this political violence and why it has risen so dramatically since Donald Trump’s first term. We need to have that conversation if we’re serious about stopping it,” the Massachusetts Democrat added.

    2. wait, you can rescind pardons? Is it only your own or can be of other presidents? Because if there’s any rescinding, it won’t be the people Trump pardoned….

He’s banking on even more people who follow his gospel to act. Why would he do anything close to this? He literally celebrated when Pelosi‘s husband was attacked.

    4. Well, he said Biden’s pardons were null and void because he used auto-pen to sign them.

Then his would also be null and void. Not because he used auto-pen, but because he’s trying to say that same signature on the Epstein card isn’t his. It matches what is on the pardons. So it can’t be his AND not his at the same time. So either he DID sign that card for Epstein or he has to have all of those pardons rescinded and all of his EOs revoked. Because it’s all the same signature.

Problem: MAGA doesn’t understand everyone as a concept.

They only cry when they perceive some slight towards their own people.

Has not the precedent been set? The political party that has the most EXTREME supporters gets the seat of power?

      Thanks SCROTUS!

There is not one serious thing about trump except the threat of him dismantling this country.

Is there a single person who thinks Trump cares about political violence so long as it’s not towards him? I would think even most of the cultists know better.

Maybe if there were some gun regulations requiring certification and training, this shooter could have been someone they knew about.

Trump could start with condemning Vance Boelter. Hell, he could even condemn Thomas Crooks

Democrats have to be better than this. The J6 pardons are abominations but rescinding a pardon is not a thing, and if it was to become a thing it would need a lot more due process than presidential whim because it is reimposing jeopardy instead of removing it.

Pardons can’t be revoked. Those pardoned can be charged with separate D.C. superior court felonies but, unlike state crimes needing governors to pardon, the president can also pardon non-federal crimes in D.C.

So, everyone had to travel to D.C. through Maryland or Virginia so possibly some type of conspiracy to commit a felony, and discrete steps towards it (loading firearms, making social media posts, etc.) in state court. The feds know how those convicted got to D.C.

    14. Pardons can’t be rescinded, and regardless of who the person is, we don’t want that to be a thing. Giving a president that ability would give them an insane amount of leverage over individual citizens, with hundreds of thousands in prison that could be used this way that weren’t part of Jan 6th.

Go ahead and rescind them now and save the next administration the trouble.

or by sending FBI and BATF out to firearms manufacturers, gun shops and sporting goods store to seize any MSR or device to alter an MSR to capacity greater than a Winchester Model 70.

Dude, how much treason do these dummies need to see before they realize they aren’t dealing with rational people. Don’t reason with treason.

I’d say put the GOP at the kiddie table until they learn to behave, but they might just assault the children while they’re there.
