This is the kind of discovery that is huge and essential, but is the kind that would also be one that I would hope to never have to make as a scientist in that field of study. It’s also not an easy discovery to publish, what with how polarized this topic is. Kudos to them for their hard work and courage and perseverance. These kinds of alarms need to be rung, even if we wish we didn’t have to hear them
