Do I get to pay $1.78 a month for 36 months for that amount of bitcoin trading in my old shitty phone because that’s what it actually is not this ridiculous black-and-white image that doesn’t explore any nuance of finance

I think OP is referring in the first price to BTC’s current all time high which is $124 547 x 0.01 = $1244 rounded up to 1300. And he’s assuming BTC will be 1.5 million usd in 2027 which is delusionaly optimistic.

It’s very logical. I recall I was living in the shelter when I was 18. The year 2000 and had 2 full time jobs, 40+ hours a week and I didn’t have any habits so my checks wasn’t getting cashed and just…spend most of it on my friends, which I still talk to today, and they were the ones with the habits. Only if I knew.

People don’t buy an iPhone as an investment. They use it to keep in touch with family, get and perform a job, learn about the world around them, find out how to get to the airport and avoid the traffic jam, check the price of Bitcoin, log in to Reddit to see memes, call an ambulance or doctor, maintain a self-custodied wallet … none of which you could have done with .01 BTC in your wallet.
