Regarding agencies and agents…
– I came across several who did not know the difference between a temporary and a permanent ground rent.
– One didn’t even tell me that the property he was selling me had a ground rent. Discovered later through the notary.
Unfair to say that about all agents. A good agent wouldn’t even recommend the property or would have advised you that it was in place. There are a lot of good agents and a few that give a bad name to all the rest.
