They priced me out. I’m finally starting to drop streaming services.

Welp, with this next increase I’ll be purchasing The Sopranos and canceling HBO Max then.

    3. Definitely need to get a dvd player so I can stop participating in this nonsense.

    4. No, no there is not. I have already canceled Netflix, and Peacock. I plan to cancel more as the billing is up.

My plan going forward is to sign up for one month at a time, catch up on what I want to watch and then cancel. I have figured out I can do this for every service and pay for less than one or two months a year of each.

Once more people figure this out they will all fail.

Didn’t this dude *just say* how the experience was bad? This is the bad experience, Zazzy boy

There’s a real opportunity to give up on Game of Thrones (which was the largest let down in history) and stream John Oliver on YouTube. I canceled paramount. Don’t think I won’t partake in my avocado toast over your bullshit, David.

Everyone needs to speak with their wallets because the 1% are accelerating the bleeding of the middle class like it’s their last chance. I’m just going to learn to go without and lean on my physical media collection.

    8. Why I’ve hated streaming from the start because it was obviously going to go this way eventually

    9. Every streaming service thinks they’re The Special One that everyone will remain subscribed to.

And so far, they’re right – account sharing lockdowns and price increases haven’t killed Netflix, as Reddit was sure of

    10. There’s a real opportunity that my HBO subscription will continue to not exist. I cancelled last month because HBOMAXI is garbage.

    11. Wonder if they’ll celebrate the price increase with a name change. Y’know, so people know they are paying for something new and exciting.

    12. I’ll continue to not subscribe. Between youtube and free services I have plenty of stuff to watch.

Never capable of just increasing market share by giving people more of what they want. Always slow climb in prices.

Looks like there’s a real opportunity to finally cancel all my streaming subscriptions.

    15. There is a ‚Real Opportunity‘, for me to not subscribe. Funny how that works isn’t it.

There’s real opportunity for me to cut the amount of streaming networks I’m subscribed to.

And there’s REAL opportunity we all cancel our HBO Max. That man is gross

That’s it! Price yourself out of existence! Lay off more people. Repeat as necessary.
