Es ist mir ein Rätsel, wie sich eine gebildete Person so sehr verändern könnte, um Geld oder Privilegien willen. Ich meine, wer kauft seine Worte, wenn es noch nicht einmal ein Jahr dauert, seit er gegen die Regierung protestiert hat. Aber ich weiß nicht, wie er denken kann, was er tut, ist es wert, dass er all die Gegenreaktionen kennt, die er erhalten wird. Gibt es eine Chance, dass er einen Plan hat? Als würde er vielleicht jetzt nur so tun? Und was mir auch seltsam ist, ist, warum will GD ihn als Mitglied ihrer Partei haben. Wie konnten sie ihm nach seiner Vergangenheit vertrauen und wenn seine eigene Freundin ein Familienmitglied aus Natsebi hat?

For your info, Kobakhidze is a very educated person, who studied in Germany, worked for several USAID projects and fluent in English, German and Russian. Consider if a person may genuinely change their mind, and it will become more understandable.
