      Article 5 isn’t a deterence if the leaders don’t speak up they’ll uphold it. By this metric, Trump objectively made the world an unsafer place.

      I would rather count on much less powerful EU troops rather than blindly give my trust to those led by an administration that could order them to pull the chair from under my ass at any moment for pure convenience. Military defense needs trust, and the Trump administration along with the smarter ones pulling his strings behind the curtain, don’t inspire the least of it.
