Yeah, ok. I’ll pay attention to Schumer the next time he’s effective.

He slipped into the Defense Authorization bill. Is Chuck finally learning how to play the game after 50 years in Washington?

Schumer and Senate Dems finally „doing something“, albeit performative, to fight back. Get all those Republican pedo defenders in the Senate on the record about their pedo protecting ways.

    4. Just put forward a bill saying a sitting or former president can be tried for crimes committed against a minor. Let’s see who votes against it. Petty yes but effective.

Is it an ambush because Republicans thought Schumer was asleep like the last 8 months?

I’ve been pretty disappointed by Schumer and would still like him replaced, but this is a good use of the *very little* power that Senate Democrats have.

Waiting for Dems to do anything is like monitoring the Pitch Drop Experiment

Every Democrat will vote ‚yes‘ every Republican will vote ’no‘, nothing happens, rinse and repeat.

    9. Sounds like the Baileys may finally be getting concerned that Trump rapes children.

Schumer printed an 8×11 strongly worded document, and he’s not afraid to use it. The Republicans are dooomed! My hero.

Hey that’s cute. He’s still going to roll over come funding due date. Remember. He stabbed us in the back earlier this year. He will do it again.

All this just reminds me of how many holidays congress gets. Now they get to go on Roshasana recess?? I mean what the actual fuck. Didn’t they just come back from summer recess??

    13. While they debate the defense bill. Maybe they could bring up that we aren’t at war anymore and the military budget has just gone up since the end of the war.

    14. How is this shit still up to a vote? These are fucking disgusting crimes that are being covered up! Why are we being respectful to the criminals? Release the files.

    15. “This will be viewed as a hostile act by our folks,” a source familiar with Republicans’ reaction to the move said. “We were engaged in bipartisan talks on amendments, and this could jeopardize that.”

We view your entire party as hostile, you fascist bitch.

If he keeps this up I’m going to be real sorry for talking shit about him. Schumer you sure you want to focus on this issue Americans care about?

Epstein files should be treated like Benghazi and Clinton’s emails by the Democrats. Relentlessly apply pressure. GOP didn’t have a leg to stand on yet they were willing to debase themselves. Democrats have four legs made of titanium to stand on and would seem like they are standing up to fascism.

LoL what files? Don’t you think anything damning must have been destroyed by now? This is performative at best.

    19. If they would just go ahead and release the files they could get back to the work of governing…

    20. Choice_Reindeer7759 on

Democrats should shut the government down if we can’t release the Epstein files.
