Q/MAGA are personality cults. the bottom line is always to support Trump. anything else – policies, opinions, right & wrong – these things may matter, individually to some participants of the group, a few might even unfollow, but the thing itself us about having blind Faith in Trump. Because it was never about actually revealing corruption and abuse in the system, it was about the perception that they would be heroes who stopped the big bad guys in the end. Ive seen it in my life since all this started, all the maga folks around me suddenly getting really quite about all this. As well as a distinct lack of people flying their trump flags in recent months.

It’s crazy because rn the biggest story is the Charlotte stabbing of the Ukrainian refugee, which is a tragedy (obv) but in terms of scale when compared to the Epstein book release should be a minor story. It’s definitely getting pushed with a racial agenda vs a huge story like the people who knew Epstein and speak in a coded language directly to him, but the MAGA people are so deluded and so quick to suck Trump off they will just ignore it. They don’t even have qualms about sending the military to American cities anymore, but they’ll still have their “don’t tread on me stickers” and talk about their freedoms. I am personally lib-center and I voted for Trump too, so I am accountable just as much.
