tall, very imposing man harassing girls and i went over to kind of act as a buffer. he’s talking about taking me outside (we were in a pizza place) and the. he starts stepping on my feet and grabbing my head. literally everyone just watching but everyone is so much smaller than this dude that even the 3-5 guys in there wouldn’t have had the chance

Curious if anyone has ever actually been in a situation like this. I’ve been in similar but not nearly as bad as the injury level, and I find myself just watching, almost like I’m watching a movie unfold but it’s not real life, so I don’t react. And then by the time I’m like I should do xyz it’s way too late. It’s happened to me several times. It’s weird because I have quick physical reflexes but I guess slow mental ones?
