      Rallying for something to be released and then saying every bit of it is fake is fucking mind boggling. Like is Trump paying their bills or something? What am I missing that is making these people so willing to slit their own wrist and deny that they’re bleeding out?

      Here’s the difference:

      Republicans only want to see democrats on the list.

      Democrats wish the list didn’t exist (e.g. no child molestation); if it *does* exist, they want every single criminal name revealed and prosecuted, regardless of political affiliation.

      You really need to understand that most conservatives dont look at the world in terms of right and wrong ACTIONS. They look at the world in terms of right and wrong PEOPLE.

      Trump is the right kind of people so nothing he does is wrong. Even if video was released of trump personally molesting children, the majority of conservatives would either just say it’s fake or just accept it – because to them the action itself actually does not really matter. Just look at how Dan Bongino and Kash Patel immediately decided the Epstein files weren’t that important the second they realized who was actually IN them. It never actually mattered to them that children were abused… what mattered was that prior to having the files they assumed it was ‚the wrong people‘ doing it.

      Meanwhile Obama, who is the wrong kind of people, is a disgrace to the nation for wearing a tan suit.

      It’s a little different though, Bush wasn’t a cult leader the way Trump is.

      They won’t turn on him until they really crack. The resistance to do so is stronger, but the ones who do will be much more upset.

      First, MAGA is never happy – it’s a rage-based movement. I imagine they all have ulcers by now (maybe hope rather than imagine).

      Second, MAGA will never turn on their Dear Leader. They already knew he’s a criminal, and a rapist, and still voted for him 3 times. They always find excuses, and they will find some more bizarre cringy excuses regardless of what’s in the documents. The GOP will not lose a single „Christian“ vote.

      I hope every last one of these people never sleeps comfortably again. I hope the paranoia and the panic eats them from the inside out. Genuinely, I hope the rest of their miserable existence is darkened by supporting and defending a child rapist.
