So, should we expect more border blockades from Polish side ?)

Maybe farmers can start to block airspace too

    2. For a moment i read this statement expecting it would be kremlin saying this, that europe is being aggressive towards russia by shooting that flying junk down

    3. Evil_Old_Guy on

Poland is gonna buy Ukraine Shaheds 136 and 280 to claim that Ukraine employs such drones, and thus it wasn’t russian agression. Or maybe they’ll choose an even longer path for that

    4. so, all previous violations – drones, rockets, sabotages and so on where just a minor mistakes, but now its serious?

and what is going to happen? i know – nothing will happen, so relax

    5. A strongly worded letter won’t do it this time. If Polish warplanes start intercepting Russian drones in Western Ukraine, the incursions will stop overnight.

    6. > Downing objects
Keep your words as vague as possible so you don’t actually have to do anything in response. Also, under no circumstances should you name which country these „objects“ belong to /s

    7. I don’t believe that Article 5 will be invoked. And what Poland’s air defence forces are now calling ‘dozens of objects’ will, at best, turn out to be five completely harmless drones. But the problem is not that I don’t believe in Article 5. The problem is that Putin doesn’t believe in Article 5 either!

Finally someone is doing something, but what choice did they really have? Not shooting the ufo’s down cost credibility and just invited even more to come. Next step is to start protecting NATO airspace by closing down a portion of the Ukrainian one, Satan in Kremlin will bark and get offended about it but he will not start slinging nuclear devices at the rest of the world because of it.

How Putin is looking for a way out of this war, and wants us to respond so so bad

It is about time to declare Ukraine a „no fly zone“ and make sure of that with european military.

Right right, keepin up with propaganda. Go get those political points..

      At least they downed them.

Few years back, a drone flew over the entirety of Hungary and fell on our capital.

    13. Unpredicted violation like Israel bombing Qatar unprecedented violation? I agree, all criminals attacking others should have the incompetent UN doing something.

It’s time for Europe to get directly involved in this war and send Russia back to Russia, and as a bonus, the stone age

    15. Puzzleheaded_Bus7706 on

How many times before Ukraine violated EU aispace? Romania, Croafia, Poland..

Didn’t it killed some farmer in Poland?

    16. The least reaction to this should be, that NATO stations mid- and long range AA systems at the borders to Ukraine and in coordination with the Ukrainian military shots down all Russia drones in range while they are still over Ukrainian territory.

This seems like a sensible safety measure to prevent further intrusions by Russia into NATO airspace. If this also helps to protect Ukraine that’s a nice „bonus“.

Europe and NATO should close out Ukraine’s airspace from drones and missiles, as they are now a direct threat to a NATO country and Europe overall.

Stop tiptoeing around already and just do it. What is Putain going to do? Threat with nuclear weapons again? They do all the escalating all the time and we can’t even stand our own ground.

    18. Full-Being-6154 on

Time to close the airspace over western Ukraine. Gives NATO an excuse to help Ukraine shoot down drones.

    19. RareEntertainment611 on

It’s time to enforce a no-fly zone over Ukraine. Russia doesn’t feel afraid to drag the war into European territory, so we shouldn’t be deadly afraid of protecting Ukrainian airspace and ours in one go. If it means shooting down Russian aircraft, so be it. They escalated this.
