Not surprised by this chart, we all know how much the Navy loves their seamen.

If there were ever a survey where you should doubt the respondents—with good reason. The Do~~D~~W is actively using self-reported (non-anonymous) information like this against service members as we speak and I would never trust that any response to something like this would be anonymous.

    3. I was confused for a minute because I thought the third category was „Totally Gay/Bi“

    4. As a navy vet…damn. Honestly surprised by the Marine Corps numbers. Those dudes were hella gay

    5. First, I think it should be place on the graph itself that these are %s.

      Second, when I first saw „total gay/bi“ I was thinking „extremely gay/bi“ lmao

The distribution is all over the place, what percentage of the general population is not gay, 1-2%? The Marine Corps (I assume it’s a different branch from the navy in America, despite its name) has a lot less than average, while the navy has an over-representation.

Is there any reason why the navy has more gay and bi men? I’d also be interested in a chart of gay and bi women.
