I realise that my house isn’t anywhere *near* this line, but I’m objecting anyway on principle.
Such a depressing list of places…
Honestly think it would be good to add Newry as the end of the line given it is probably the more far flung commuter town north of Dublin City.
Northern Commuter services used to have a couple of journeys each day which finished/began in Newry, these ceased when the enterprise became an hourly service.
Plus it is the only town in the six counties in the States national development plan and quite a few Dublin based workers are buying new builds here which are close to the train line/motorway.
There are trains to Gormastown and Laytown afaik.
You’re missing a spur to Slane, Duleek, M1 Parkway and Drogheda West
I was going to say Sandpit is a bit daft as it’s tiny but it’s only over the road from Termonfeckin and Clogherhead. Trying to think where the best spot would be for a station there, the Milltown road is very narrow so Maybe Carstown rd or Galroostown rd?
All that infrastructure and not a single destination worth going to
