It’s not enough , every political entity is deeply corrupt in Nepal. He is just the tip of the iceberg.
They get the money from the slave labor Nepali people do abroad or the foreign aid and spend in US dollars while poverty is rampant in Nepal.
The best thing is to get their loot into national wealth and develop infrastructure as promised.
The only problem is there is no leader that can be trusted.

Oli stepping down after 19 deaths shows how serious the protests were. It’s wild that a **social media ban** became the tipping point, but it makes sense — people already frustrated with corruption felt silenced, and that just exploded into anger. Nepal’s politics always had instability, but this feels like a turning point. Curious to see who takes over and whether the next govt actually addresses corruption or it’s just the same cycle again.

After Pakistan and Bangladesh this is this third nation near India which is without government now, India had good relations with Nepal. This is a big plot.

    4. It is only because violent after the police used LIVE ammunition resulting in the death of 19 PEACEFUL Protestors.

Great timing for the US to have revoked Nepal TPS and sending all the Nepalese TPS holders home

They just set their parliament on fire. I’m an Indian and I’d say India’s intelligence has failed badly considering it’s the 3rd instance of its neighbours torching themselves. Although I hope everything comes down to normal as soon as possible.

Wow Nepali politics is so screwed up that since 2015, the PM-ship has been rotating among 3 people: Pushpa Kamal Dahal, KP Sharma Oli and Sher Bahadur Deuba. They’ve each taken the office at least twice in this period, and each term is almost ridiculously short.

Seems abundantly clear that nothing is going to change if Oli passes the torch to Deuba or Dahal yet again.
