When the sane manage to wrestle the steering wheel back, we either need to 1) pack the court to 13 justices or 2) introduce a way to remove a justice.

Also blame Mitch McConnell and every last elected republican for stealing supreme court seats.

Also blame Chuck Schumer and every last elected democrat for their cowardice and fecklessness in the face of republican fascism.

They were all picked by the same organization that wrote a 900 page instruction book on ending American Democracy. Did anyone expect anything else?

Blame Robert’s for gutting Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act. According to Robert’s opinion, discrimination is no longer an issue.

With every decision, it’s clear these powers would not have been given to any previous president, Republican or Democrat. The coup is done, years in the making, and we’re in the regime-building stage of a Christian Nationalist, white supremacist, authoritarian state with a complicit Congress and Supreme Court. Let’s see reality for what is with the court.

It doesn’t matter. It truly doesn’t. Trump doesn’t give a shit if the Supreme Court sides with him or against him — he just expects them to out of loyalty. If they find against him, he’ll just keep doing whatever he wants anyway. They’ve already handed him a crown, told him nothing he does can be held against him, and he’s dying anyway.

It’s just self-preservation. This group of judges determined that the President can legally have people killed through military action and face no consequences. Now they’re supposed to turn around and tell him No?

All 3 branches of the government are actively working against the people. The United States is no longer a free country.

Look up Roland Freisler and Volksgerichtshof and you will know how US courts look like in the near future.

      >Donald Trump inflicted plenty of damage on the United States over the course of his first four years in office, but the most enduring blow may have been his radicalization of the Supreme Court. He appointed not one, not two, but three conservative justices, all of whom were hand-selected by right-wing activists.

      >The remade court quickly paid dividends, issuing decisions overturning Roe v. Wade and granting Trump immunity from prosecution for acts committed while president. Now, it’s actively enabling the restored president’s fascist regime.

      >The conservative justices have already made it harder for judges to shut down Trump’s lawlessness and overtly unconstitutional orders — such as his effort to eliminate the constitutional guarantee to birthright citizenship — and keeps allowing him to fire ostensibly independent regulators and government workers en masse without any basis. Worse yet, the court has decided that Trump can arbitrarily deport immigrants to third-party countries to which they have no ties, even to exceedingly dangerous countries like South Sudan, with little opportunity to challenge the government’s decisions.

      >On Monday, the Supreme Court issued perhaps its most profoundly un-American ruling yet, allowing Trump’s masked immigration thugs to indiscriminately stop people on the streets because they are speaking Spanish or working as day laborers in the construction industry, so Trump officials can check their citizenship status and add more victims to the administration’s churning deportation machine.

      >********************

      >But after Trump and his administration for months refused to comply with the Supreme Court’s order regarding Abrego Garcia, and as Trump and his team have led a blistering PR campaign against judges who rule against them, the conservative justices have changed their tune. They are now not merely acting as his lapdogs, but his accomplices in a spree of crimes against the American people and all else who reside here.

      >********************

The Supreme Court is quickly turning the Constitution into a meaningless document while it makes up precedent that is clearly not supported by Constitution or previous caselaw. It is the most corrupt Supreme Court in history.

    10. The system of the Supreme Court is a complete fail. Whats the reason for lifetime appointments? The hope that this makes a judge independent and incorruptible. Did it work out? Apparently not.

    11. Yes, that was the deal. Did anyone think his appointments *weren’t* full of ass shit??

    12. I think it’s worse than that.

What does it mean when Trump signs an EO, illegal or otherwise, and then SCOTUS call it legal?

      That’s creating a law.

That’s the Executive and the Judiciary acting together as a Legislature.

That’s an erasure of one branch of government by the other two.

    13. This should be called out MORE. The complicity of the Supreme Court is obvious. It started where it was just for the GOP but this here for and on behalf of this administration is hideous

    14. NorthenFreeman on

The SCOTUS is corrupt. Biden should have done something about it. Now they will manage to make sure we won’t have a fair election again.

    15. Pepperidge Farms remembers when „Chief Justice“ Roberts decided on a whim that he was going to blow off Trump’s impeachment after the insurrection

    16. blackbirdspyplane on

I have lost all faith in our court system, starting with the Supreme Court which appears to be completely compromised and corrupt. At this point, I think it is impossible for the sitting Supreme Court to render unbiased opinion.

    17. That was the plan when they made their deal with Evangelicals in the 70s. They had to dismantle/take control of the Judicial branch and the SCOTUS to do what they wanted to do, which was 100% unconstitutional, so they needed the people interpreting the Constitution on their side.

As soon as they got the SCOTUS they were able to go 100% maskless and didn’t need to pretend anymore.

    18. At this point the US political system needs more then reform, it needs to be rebuilt, this is…putrefaction. You can’t possibly reform this.

These people need to be thrown out, the entire system changed so this can never happen again.

    19. Time to split the United States.

How can we claim to be a functional system when our President can threaten military invasion, and War, of an American City, and there will be zero hearings, zero impact to Trump, the House and Senate look away and SCOTUS rules for further fascist freedom. Let alone everything else, like the GOP in House/Senate/SCOTUS/DOJ burying Trumps very well known and documented child rape history!? This isnt a switch that was flicked with Trump 2024. This has been decades of the GOP breaking our democracy as Democrats looked away. Fuck the USA, remove the funding, remove the support, remove the troops, let the DNC and GOP dry up and die before they take the world with them.

All of the arepublican justices were hand-picked by 1 organization, a private entity largely controlled by 1 person. These justices are clearly no l9nger following the Constirution, our laws, or their own precedents. The American people need to take it upon themselves to fix this. Whatever it takes.

The Supreme Court has devolved into Donald Trump’s kangaroo court—stacked through hypocrisy, stripped of integrity, and weaponized for partisan power.

Mitch McConnell blocked Merrick Garland under the excuse of “letting voters decide,” then shoved Amy Coney Barrett through days before the 2020 election. That wasn’t principle. It was theft. And now a 6–3 conservative supermajority is busy shredding rights and shielding Trump.

They’ve gutted reproductive freedom, eroded voting rights, and handed corporate polluters free rein. When Trump’s own legal fate is at stake, the Court suddenly grows timid—slow-walking cases and indulging fantasies of presidential immunity. That’s not justice. It’s complicity.

A kangaroo court delivers verdicts first and rationalizations second. This Court does exactly that. The result: a crumbling of public trust and the disgrace of an institution once meant to stand above politics.
