> Michael Caine is eyeing a return to acting with a sequel to “The Last Witch Hunter” at Lionsgate. The 92-year-old screen legend is set to come out of retirement for the feature, which will also see Vin Diesel return to headline. The sequel is being fast-tracked through development at Lionsgate and Diesel’s production banner One Race Films, Variety has confirmed.
> Though a deal for Caine hasn’t been finalized, the actor is expected to reprise his role from the 2015 original “Last Witch Hunter.” Caine played Dolan, a priest who assists Diesel’s warrior Kaulder as he fights to stop a plague propagated by a witch queen.

I always assumed it would take a project as prestigious as this to tempt the great man out of retirement.

He wants to eliminate Sean Connery from „Worst Final Movie“ consideration. Pure ego.

Finally! I really liked the Last Witch Hunter. Hope this will also be good.

Its funny that the most notable thing to ever come out of this property was the rather popular 3rd party Blood Hunter class for 5th Edition D&D.

Michael Caine has spoken at length about his friendship with Vin Diesel, and I imagine him taking this project on is related to that. What a weird, odd couple. But I’m here for it.

Forgot he was in the first one, totally though Vin was strolling him in a wheelchair for Fast 11. Another Witchhunter was not something I expected, but Vin always finds away to bring his old movie characters back.
