I’m surprised and excited this passed the Senate. Is anyone else surprised by this?

Well hell yeah then. Rare win. Not for California, just politics in general. Not every day they restrict their ability to be corrupt.

Wait. Politicians can sign NDAs?! How the hell has that even been mildly acceptable for this long

Does sound positive if I understand what NDA stands for (none disclosure agreement), if I got it right the only ones who use it are companies who want to keep their business assets i.e. network server names or coding away from the competitors. Not sure how this will work when it comes to national security.

NDA’s should be illegal for everyone

I don’t understand NDA’s. The 1st amendment is inalienable, doesn’t that mean the law can’t enforce them. To me inalienable means you can’t even give that shit away.

Signing an NDA that could potentially compromise the legislator’s duties to the public is completely unacceptable.
This is how you help prevent corruption.
