    1. Well the state went for Trump. Let those measles ridden peons endure the consequences of their choices.

    2. Their surgeon general is an actual doctor…and he chose „vibes“ instead of science for his vaccine decision

      He should lose his license

    3. This is how democracy ends— based on vibes of the misinformed and misguided.

    4. Just vibes is enough these days? I’m getting pedophile vibes from him. He has that Big R next to his name. That is a big tell.

Lock him up, because of vibes.

when asked in a recent interview if he had done a study to predict the effects of banning the vaccine mandate, he was proud of the fact that he had not. that’s the whole maga cult in a nutshell: dumb as fuck and fiercely proud of it.

    6. Please do not say that this man is stupid. He is not. Saying that he is stupid is going easy on him. He didn’t study whether this policy would impact the spread of disease because he doesn‘ have to. He knows that it will just as we all do. He just doesn’t care. The minute he was appointed he understood that his role was that of a political crony to DeSantis. Not a doctor. Not someone who puts public health first. A crony.

    7. >So, buckle up, Florida. Your surgeon general just admitted that outbreaks of vaccine-preventable disease are coming.

Just pointing out the obvious. Making people sicker will increase doctors and hospital visits. Those things cost money and doctors get their financial cuts. $$$

In a rational country, making medical decisions based on vibes and not sound scientific data should absolutely warrant him losing his medical license and position as surgeon general. We are not a rational country anymore.

    9. MAGA is the *death panel* they accused Obama of being when he tried to give those idiots healthcare

    10. They dont get to soft walk back trying to kill children with preventable diseases !

      WTF?

So this fucking doctor ignored his **Hippocratic Oath** because he wanted to be popular.

He should lose his fucking license to practice medicine.

The first rule of medicine is **“do no harm”.**

This guy is a menace to society and his profession.

    13. Well he obviously didn’t ban them based on experience or scientific evidence

    14. „Who am I to tell you what you should put inside your body?“

The got-dammed Surgeon General of the state of Florida and a Harvard-trained medical doctor! You are the person whose job it is to tell the population what is and isn’t safe to put in our bodies!

That line in particular stood out to me as particularly infuriating. The next most irritating was the comparison between vaccine mandates for school children and slavery. Like the GOP gives a hoot about the struggles of black people in the first place!

Unfortunately, Dr. Ladapo is going to learn the hard way that there is little room in MAGA for black and brown men. Eventually they will discard him when his usefulness is spent. I hope it’s worth whatever he is getting paid to say these ridiculous things because no one else will want him after MAGA chews him up and spits him out.

Brought to you by the Herman Cain Memorial Award, sponsored by the Darwin Foundation.

    16. Given his general lack of medical knowledge, vibes are about the only method he has for decision making (beyond flipping a coin).
