Am I missing something here but why are all these threats happening now specifically and to him only? He isn’t even the Taoiseach at the moment.

    2. The journal has threats to Harris in their comment section which haven’t been taken down

This is where the hands off approach to the far right leads. The parodox of tolerance.

    4. It’s almost like attacking the man personally over his job emboldened nutters.

This is getting way, way out of hand.
What worries me is that there have been on-going flurries of threats made against politicians – right across the spectrum of parties, against public figures, even Gardaí have been harassed, and the system sort of hoped it would go away and didn’t do anything. It didn’t and now it’s becoming a significant problem. You can’t just brush serious threats like this aside or the pattern of making threats and lashing out like that becomes normalised in certain bubbles. It has to be nipped in the bud, and it wasn’t.

Who the fuck would want to get into politics if this is what you’re in for.

How come the woman that made the threats last week was released without charge and no further actions taken? Wait now and see the same happen in this instance. Absolute cretin he is.

People won’t care to admit it but some of the toxic commentary and attitude to politicians that leads to this type of shit can be seen regularly on this sub too.

These people need to be locked up with the max sentence. Inciting violence and terrorism.

They do not give a fuck about that young child, just like they don’t give a fuck about women they pretend to.

This is what a hands-off approach leads to. If Republicans or the left did half the things the far right so, they’d have dragged them in front of the Special Criminal Court by now

Build prison, cut social welfare and clear these dudes out of society.

You either want to be part of a decent society and contribute positively or else fuck off.

The Internet was a great invention at the time but it had given a voice to people who should never be heard.

    12. Is anyone surprised at how horrific and low some people will go. There is a new level of scum trying to set the agenda and they can’t be let get away with it

    13. Genuinely concerning if this hate driven movement gets organised, just needs one charismatic and somewhat level headed person to really rally these loopers

    14. So just to recap:

FFG, with their classic hubris, lets the far right fester with their softly softly approach. Thinking it might be a handy distraction from the absolute shambles they’ve made of housing, health, infrastructure etc.

They did not care in the slightest when it was kids being terrorised at a book reading at a library, they did not care when it’s defenseless Indian people being targeted. They wouldn’t care if it was you, or your children or your parents.

Now that the children being targeted are Harris’s it full Garda mobilisation.

Remember that at the next election.

Harris should magnanimously instruct four Fine Gael dominated Councils to nominate McGregor. Get him on the ballot and then see him roundly defeated in the election.

Oh look, the FF/FG policy of sitting back and letting the far right eat Sinn Féin’s lunch has now also served to embolden them.

This country needs zero tolerance against these clowns 🤡, I would love to see McGregor interviewed live on tv…….he’d tap out in 60 seconds.
