There are chatters that the conference is going to be delayed till next year. If this happens it’ll be some 6+ months since Sultana made her announcement. So much momentum will be lost.

Labour are in government for another 4 years, it’s really hard to take her seriously.

    3. >In her speech, she described Labour as a “dead party” that had failed to deliver but said **she had no interest in building a** “Labour party 2.0” or creating a **party that was just about winning elections.**

I guess they’ll win a ton of arguments though.

She may be right about Labour. But Your Party having a civil war over one of the lead figures being on the side of JK Rowling on trans women and declaring he is socially conservative (on abortion he is on the side of Jacob Rees-Mogg) before they got a proper name doesn’t make for a great start.

They didn’t print enough copies of State and Revolution to hand out.

I woke up in the middle of the night clutching my phone and read this thinking it was a story about New Zealand. Thank goodness it’s the UK. We only have 750,000 voters in total. Now I can’t sleep.

      >no interest in … creating a party that was just about winning elections

So why bother? Surely at that point you might as well just be an activist group then?

    8. A reminder that Sultana has never had a real job and was parachuted into a safe seat that she had no connection to. She is as much a product of the political system as anyone you can name. She is my local MP and did not enjoy having to vote for bargain-bin AOC.

    9. I said before that this ‘thing’ would implode by Christmas. I’m now changing that to ‘might actually have bothered their arses by Christmas’.

Get on with it, so we can watch it blow up and move on to more important stuff.

I don’t wish to be disrespectful, but if ZH thinks Your Party can stop Reform winning… she’s in for a rude awakening..

You know I was just think what the left needs now is for another party to split the vote.

I’m going to be looking forward to the infighting.

    12. I can’t help but wonder about the policies of a party that, at the moment, has almost exclusively Muslim MPs.

Yes, yes, good, help Reform. You are a useful idiot to our grand scheme! Muhaha!

    14. “We exist only to bleed Labour votes away from Labour, ensuring Tory or Reform dominance in every seat we contest. Ignore our manifestos and campaign promises, a vote for us will help ensure the far right of the country get to enact their very worst ideas!”

Zarah Sultana, probably (if she was being honest).

    15. She’s right. Labour is dead — or soon will be when the Unions pull their support. Nice going, Keir.

Ah, the Islamist LGBT party without a name. Supporting the left by fighting itself & opening the door to reform

    17. And you guys are to engrossed in eating yourselves over what looks like purity tests.

    18. Best leftist party ever.

A party “not about winning elections”.

They ll be a kingmaker of sort if you want to call Farage king…

How are people not seeing through this?
