Considering these guys are a sabotage group, really curious the direction things will take when they get pushed underground.

If you don’t look into who’s running this, it’s a really good campaign to sow unrest against a government, especially with the old people getting taken away.

    2. Wow imagine supporting a foreign financed group that sabotages military equipment will have consequences.

Palestine action are useful idiots for Iran and Russia

Their is a difference between protest and boycotting Israeli and the literally undermining of your own nations defence

That’s called treason and a fifth column. The Pro Palestine left really need to get their act together and condemn PA. They are only damaging themselves

„It is intolerable that those whose job it is to enforce the law and keep people safe – in this case arresting individuals committing offences under the Terrorism Act – should be subject to this level of abuse.”

„Police began making arrests shortly after the demonstration began. Officers faced chants of “shame on you” when taking two elderly people using mobility scooters into police vans.“

Perhaps if you weren’t arresting people for literal terrorism for protesting by holding cardboard signs you might get more tolerance?

I get Britain doesn’t have free speech like America does/did; but this level of quashing opposition is stupid and looks similar to what ICE is doing.

    5. Just a friendly reminder that the reason Palestine Action was labeled a terrorist group was because doing so allows the UK government to prosecute people under that designation without a jury trial, which removes the obstacle of jury nullification. There have been numerous cases recently (including against members of PA) of juries refusing to convict protest actions like what PA did on more typical “destruction of property” charges, so the government wants to remove juries from the process.

      > Mike Higgins, 62, a blind man who uses a wheelchair, whose arrest was seen by millions on social media, also returned. He was arrested at the demonstration last month, which he said “starkly highlights what an absolute waste of time” the proscription of Palestine Action was for the state, taxpayers, police resources and, “most importantly, [for] Palestine and defending the people of Palestine, because that’s actually what this is really about”.

The British government does seem to be a bit reluctant to properly enforce the ban. Yes, they detain hundreds of people every weekend, but are they also going to be charged? The ban seems kinda pointless if they aren’t actually treated like terrorism supporters. The arrested protesters just return a week later to be arrested again … and again … and again. The government seems to treat them more like idiots who have no clue what kind of group they are supporting than like actual terrorism supporters.
