      > For the second time in two days, Venezuela has flown military aircraft over the USS Jason Dunham in international waters near South America, multiple Defense Department officials confirmed to CBS News Friday, describing the action as turning into a „game of chicken.“

      > The aircraft, which one Defense Department official said were F-16 fighter jets, flew over the Dunham sometime overnight Thursday. It was unknown if the aircraft was armed.

      > The Dunham, an Aegis guided-missile destroyer, did not engage, the officials said.

      > This comes after CBS News reported Thursday that two F-16 fighter jets also flew over the Dunham earlier that day. The Pentagon later confirmed that incident, describing it in a statement as a „highly provocative move“ that „was designed to interfere with our counter narco-terror operations.“

Don’t think the U.S. consider F-16’s as a threat to their navy. brave of the pilots though.

    3. They only blow up unarmed boats with civilians that *might* have drugs so those fighters are probably safe.

The second time was last night it seems. Trump gave permission today to shoot them down. 10 F35’s were scrambled to join the ships also so we should see some fireworks if Maduro is stupid enough to test it

    5. Maduro is truly a dumb ass, trying to provoke the other man baby who has a much bigger stick. Still, I’d be so great if somehow he did bait Trump.

A few missiles here and there and the the cancer of Chavismo falls apart after 26 years and then the 8 million Venezuelans refugees burdening other countries in Latin America can start returning to their homeland.

    6. Yeah, burn up those airframe hours so you have to dig into your dwindling supply of F-16 parts. That’ll show the US.

They knew they were ok when they were still flying when they could see the ship

Shoot one down, they will get the hint and stop. If they don’t shoot the next one down.

And where is this US Navy ship? Is off the coast of oh…. Let’s say Venezuela?

Dumb to put the ships there, but even dumber to fuck with them. You touch a ship, you’re not going to have a good time.

Thats a bold strategy, Cotton. Let’s see if it pays off.

I would recommend using pilot that are old and have cancer.

If we get involved in a war with Venezuela right now oil prices will surge thereby saving the Russian economy, and making us less prepared to confront China in 2027.

Trump didn’t have this idea before he met with Putin.

    14. Back Channel to U.S Warships: “Hey, we’re going to fly our unarmed F16s near your ships to save face. Please don’t shoot us”

      Venezuela looks strong back home.

    15. US ship is worried that Venezuela is trafficking drugs… Venezuelan planes are worried that US ship is trafficking underage children for the White House
