Well yeah, trans activists are citizens and basically entitled to the same police protection as everyone else.
On one hand, he is a complete nutjob. However he is touching on a real issue here in that he was arrested for something purely nonsensical, and if he had said it about anyone else, nobody would have batted an eye. We have had a problem for a decade now with people getting out of hand with their activism and going too far but the authorities always insisted its fine but the moment even the slightest hint of it goes the other way they act like its high treason.

It’s honestly the perfect example of how deep the far right rabbit hole goes. People like Graham have given up so much of their lives, careers, relationships, reputations. All just to defend a fantasy. And at this point, admitting they were wrong would mean facing the reality of everything they’ve destroyed in the process. Their pride can’t even let them see reality, that trans people are a minority, in a minority, and they’re hatred for them is manufactured by bad across.
So instead, they double down. They have to, because the alternative is too painful. They don’t live in reality anymore; they live in a constant feedback loop of online lies and outrage that they carry into their everyday life. It’s sad, but also dangerous, because it shows how completely detached from reality someone can become when their whole identity is tied to a toxic belief system.
The scale of this with immigration is worrying. People are genuinely becoming detached from reality.
