    1. This country is so done.

25% for Nazi Putin loyalists and 11% for commies/antifas that want peace thorugh disarment. And in between we’ve got pure fucking incompetence whether its CDU, SPD or Greens.

Great. Fucking amazing and welcome back Weimarer Republik!

    2. A better source is https://www.wahlrecht.de/umfragen/ where multiple polls are compared side-by-side. Results are more or less the same, though, with Die Linke around 10%, which puts them in 4th or 5th place, depending on how the Green Party polls.

This is exactly what germany needs right now – more people cut off from reality

    4. This is a bad situation going to an even worse one. Hope Europe can make it through, but I fear for the future of democracy on our continent as extremism gains more and more popular political backing.

      Thank you social media.

    5. The only surprising thing is that they aren’t much stronger, because they are the only party with the people in mind, instead of their own pockets.

    6. The far right rising and – pretty much solely due to that – the far-left rising as a political counterweight. Polarisation at its most obvious.

This is all looking very similar to the Weimar era polical landscape. Extremists at both ends are elected in masse because the population thinks that populism can be countered with populism (history shows that this does not work)

The AfD opposes the EU and our democratic values, the Linke push against NATO and would (if they were ever in government) pursue an economic and foreign policy doomed to failure.

Sadly people dont understsnd that now is the time, in wich we desperatly need rational politics.

    8. Not a German, so my opinion is inherently less valuable on the matter, but one can hope that this percentage continues to grow

Since they are against arming the country against russia i wonder if they are just naive

      That’s 36% votes for anti-establishment parties.

Will the government ever realise that change is needed, or will they let it get to 50%?

Merz is not helping things. Standing behind us with a whip and telling us to work more and that wealth transfer from the rich to the poor is „the wrong direction“ is certainly not the way to win back voters.
