      Sophie really hasn’t had a whole lot of opportunities to stretch into a challenging role. I don’t find this encouraging, but I will hold off. I think Vikander has been the best so far.

      I really haven’t seen her in anything since GoT ended 6 years ago. And it’s Amazon, there’s a low chance it’s not going to be good. But I’ll be happy to be proven wrong. Amazon has a couple of really great hits – fallout, the boys, Mr and Mrs smith.

      Nobody will beat Angelina Jolie in my book. I love Sophie and Alicia and I’m sure they did their best but… Angelina.

      I know it was a low chance but I would’ve loved Florence Pugh as Lara.

      Terrible actress who had her chance at stardom after GOT and couldn’t carry a film with X-Men.

      I can hear the shrill tone of her voice.

      Ugh.

      Another franchise i get to say goodbye to.

      At least I have a lot of good media that came before thanks to Vikander and Jolie, as well as the games.

      Its been fun, Tomb Raider.

      Classic or Legend Lara? Awful casting choice.
      Survivor Lara? Arguably a perfect casting choice since they’re both charisma vacuums.

      I thought Daisy Ridley would have been a slightly better choice

      This girl’s acting is as fluid as a box of cardboard. I hope I’ll be proven wrong because I love the Tomb Raider franchise, but Sophie Turner has been a mediocre actress so far.

      Not a good choice for lead. The action is gonna have to be spectacular to compensate.

      I’ll give it a chance but not hopeful.

      Nothing like casting a mediocre blue-eyed blonde haired woman to place an iconic dark haired brown eyed woman like Lara Croft.

      Not gonna say it now, but seems like a HUGE miscast.  But we shall see.

      In my mind, Sophie Turner’s physicality is that of a very beautiful bird. Croft needs to be able to take a punch directly to the face and get back up, and I don’t see that in Sophie, as beautiful as she is.

      I haven’t watched the Tomb Raider films since the original way back when, but it feels like a Tomb Raider reboot happens like every few years. Maybe I’m mixing the games with the movies tho.

      What’s going on with Hollywood, they keep hiring people who are not necessarily the best fitting for their roles. Sophie as Tomb Raider? Ok… guess I’ll wait for the trailer then. Loved her in GoT, not sure about TR though, that’s a different type of role.

      I will never forgive Hollywood for never casting Kate beckinsale in that role.

      There’s a physicality to this role I’m skeptical Sophie turner can bring then again I was wrong about Heath Ledger
