Putin is winning the war. I bet he has serious dirt on Donald Trump, so Trump is kind of his asset.

    2. Russia is expending huge amounts of time, money and resources on the war. Many Russians are dying or are being seriously disabled. Russia is losing income via sanctions and individual Russians are suffering from sanctions.

However, I imagine Putin doesn’t much care about all this, especially as China and India are increasing support for Russia.

I suspect the war will end because of events internal to Russia with some of the oligarchs and Russian maffias deciding they have suffered enough because of Putin’s war and „removing“ him.

    3. Many russian „nobody“ die in Ukraine.
This war is exhausting for Russia, even if Putin is throwing tons of cash to hide this bleeding nightmare.

Russian progress in Ukraine ? Not that much.

If Ukraine holds things may go south in Russia.

    4. He wants to re- build the Russian empire..but! He’s fucked up the economics of that country!

At this poimt we really do need a dipshit hall of fame cos its inexcusable approaching 4 years in to make noises the noisemaker knows are utterly pointless.

Peace has been tried. Russias response is to laugh and target civilians. Which is an explicit war crime.

Germanys big boy says thats naughty? He would like then to stop it?

Its happening in the uk right now. Farage (our trump) will get in because everyone else is jist so, so bad.

      >He [Putin] will only be willing to negotiate if it is to his advantage. At the moment, by continuing the war, he has all the advantages on his side, from his point of view. He is securing territorial gains.

This should really be no surprise to anyone. Why anyone would think that Putin would want to negotiate on terms that are disadvantageous to Russia is beyond me.

Translation: What Merz is really saying here is that Russia is currently holding the cards. He has *no reason* to agree to any Ukrainian or western demands that are not in line with Russia’s interests. This is the reality and we need to adopt to it.

    8. Please tell Merz to stop barking and start working. Fix Germany’s economy instead of cannibalizing social security. Fix EU’s dependence on US military industrial complex. As long as EU can’t put a foot forward without US permission, nobody will take him seriously.

I just can’t wait for kiddie diddler Krasnov to end this whole thing on day one..

    10. Does anyone have any estimates on the long-term harm Russia has done to its economy? My guess would be that sending hundreds of thousands (upwards of one million from some estimates) of men would undo whatever gains Russia could get out of this war. Could be wrong though.
