I don’t know why this got tagged as Russia/Ukraine.

Wild to see the presentation of China outwardly compared to what we’re seeing in the U.S at the moment.

No matter how much they try they can never wash the blood off the streets. No sympathy for the victims and no remorse. These three are not humans and they want to start the new world order. I don’t want to be part of it. Do you? The memories of Tiananmen Square won’t go away, ever.

The air pollution is so bad I can’t see a bloody UFO.
However those adult toys look like lot of fun.

Not really a fan of this sort of thing, but if you’re going to spend a lot of money on it, this is how you do it.

      ‚twas a good show.

Will the parade acknowledge the Allies’ contribution to the Chinese war effort in WW2 or will they follow Russia’s example

Oh shit, Yam Tits sees this and it’s another big beautiful military parade in our future.

    7. This was a 30 minute parade with a 60 minute arms sale ad.

Welcome to the military industrial complex.

    8. They’re flexing their alliances because they sense weakness in NATO because Trump keeps shitting on it and threatening his own god damn alliance that America created.

      Such a stupid fucking timeline.

It’s like when American “conservatives” call others globalists etc.

**Newsflash to Americans, you created Globalism and it was entirely to your benefit. The alliances you are tearing down are the ones you created. The trade deals that are apparently horrible are the ones you created, on purpose, to your benefit.**

      Idiocracy was a documentary.

Can’t wait for Trump’s 4am tweet storm announcing yet another bullshit military parade.

    10. One could simply see this as just a meeting of world leaders, but all the types of leaders involved is fairly ominous.

It’s hard to judge right now if this is a short term parade for the cameras, historically a lot of these leaders have a lot of issues with each other. But if this alliance really does grow strong and unified, that’s really worrying for the world.

There is nothing that says the developed world needs to be a democracy, we could easily send the world in the dark ages again. Having read 1984 I don’t worry the US or Europe will choose to go in that direction, but if there is war and the bad guys win…

    11. They are going to show Trump how it’s done. They are showing off and making fun of Trump

    12. Wait I thought military parades were „fascism“! Guess that only applies to America.

      >Xi started a brief address by remembering the victims of the war and called for eradication of the roots of war to prevent history from repeating itself.

Roots of the war? That would be in large part due to authoritarianism I believe. Are there any authoritarian governments being represented at this display of might and military strength? Any at all?

With the CCP going to such lengths to celebrate the ROC and American’s victory over the Japanese in WWII, I wonder if this a olive branch to the rest of the world and a gesture to prove CCP has put its petty aggression behind it.

      I hope so.

Serious question from someone who doesn’t understand.
I get that the US has lost/is losing its superpower status. But assuming they kind of get some stability back after trump (if there is an after) will the US simply become a powerful country forces to bargain more equally with other powerful European countries? Or are they doomed to splinter into smaller groups that don’t quite measure up to other western countries?

US has been aura farming with their military for decades. Cultures all around the world were slobbering over the identity of western military might.

Now? We haven’t seen anything from the US in years. Massive opportunity for other countries to take the scene over. Russian military is all over the news constantly. China puts on the best military shows. India is lacking but i hope Putin gives them some tips. US hasn’t deployed a large force in years. The last biggest showing of US military might was Trumps sad little parade. Embarrassing.

Aura war has already been won by Xi/Putin.
