Hallo allerseits,

Practical election freebies. The SPD also promotes a universal public health care insurance (Bürgerversicherung). Health care policies are in general part of their program, maybe the bandages etc. was a hit at that.
CDU advertises with [knives](https://www1.wdr.de/nachrichten/rheinland/messer-wahlkampf-cdu-104.html), SPD with plasters…
Just „More useable“ useless election freebies
Random freebie item. And tbh, a rather usefull one in comparison. They are small, take away barely any space. And Pflaster are a typical item you might need on the go that many people do not actually have in their bags
Some of the better ideas of our oldest political party to give away election freebies. You can actually use those plasters. The pen and the lighter the CDU gave me stopped working within a week.
I only ever received bottle openers.
That’s a so called „Trostpflaster“. Because that’s all you’ll ever get from SPD.
Clearly for triage. Tap the bandage on the forehead of injured people and write a number on it…
It is meant to be a symbolic representation of their politics: „We won’t target the root cause of your illness but we promise to put a small band-aid on some of your wounds if you vote for us“.
