Immigration has always been a scapegoat, never was a problem and is being used as the ultimate excuse to everyone’s problems.
Well who is he going to blame? The Conservatives who have been running and ruining provinces across Canada?
Its easy to blame immigrants but hard to escape the bigoted title when he keeps hanging out with white nationalists and blaming brown people for the woes made by politicians inside Canada
The idea that immigration is a bad thing was preposterous from the start. The hottest fires forge the hardest steel, making people who came out of those fires a boon to Canada for that reason alone.

But they are still approving ridiculous temporary foreign worker applications. There’s a gas station down the street from me in Ottawa that just got one approved. Apparently the government agrees that they couldn’t find a single person to work at a gas station in Ottawa…..
I mean Canada isn’t broken either, but PP doesn’t let that nugget go, so it’ll likely be never that he won’t toss himself on the grown like a toddler to trot out this one for the next 4 years either.
Why are we still giving in 108k work permits so far this year when unemployment is at a 10-year high (excluding the pandemic)
I am not a Conservative but on a political level Poilievre would have been wise to really go into the depths of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program/LMIA Process during the election.
Really done some big stands and given actual specific policy around reforms/scrapping of certain parts of the programs.
Instead he just uses it for political red-meat to his base when he is in trouble because he has no interest in reforming of this area or tackling the business lobby interests in this space.
He’s a con artist.
