More and more I’m worried conflict with Russia may be necessary in order to preserve democracy in the western world. With these continued protests in Russian aligned countries, the rise of the pro-Russian far right, the war in Ukraine, I don’t think democracy has been in this much danger since WWII. With US leadership now diminished due to our own pro Russian president I fear for the future.
