Do not come in here saying “well they are getting what they voted for!”…children can’t vote and didn’t chose this. This is devastating none of these children deserve the cruelty and pain this is causing…

If you voted for this admin blood is on your hands and it sucks that children have to suffer the consequences of your ignorance and cruelty.

Didn’t Trump tell his nephew to let his son die, so he wouldn’t have to pay for his medical care?

He doesn’t care about children in his family, and he certainly doesn’t care about others

    3. Trump and RFK Jr will make life much tougher for the poor, sick, and uneducated. It is shameful.

When you consider that these people profess to be Christian, it is just madness.

    4. But will vote for him regardless, cause the local pastor told them, Trump was a messenger from God.

“I love the uneducated.” – Donald Trump

And by love, he means that he loves to take advantage of their piss poor critical thinking skills.

Maybe these parents shouldn’t have voted for racism over their kids.

Some folks don’t exist in this admin’s purview, outside of how our blood is the grease that keeps the machine in motion.

Always keep that thought in the front of your mind when you see these things.

We are nothing but fodder for the machine.

GOP are programmed to cut costs and they have proven time and time again that they don’t care who is harmed. Reminder: most of them are millionaires or have become millionaires while in Congress. Their disconnect from reality is proven daily – please stop rewarding them

    9. They voted to kill their own kids or they voted to kill their neighbors kids. In the end Maga voted to kill children.

    10. nightwing12 on

I guess their rural parents should have thought about that on election day

I’m a little confused how these radicalizing forces aren’t producing radicals.

Right right right, the kids and whatever, but he and his buddies are getting some siiiiicccckkkkk tax breaks so 🤷

Oh, and people aren’t talking about the Epstein list as much, so bonus points for Donny!

    13. Watching the chickens come home to roost. I have several Trumpkin friends get very angry that the local rula hospital is closing. „I did that“ – Trump

Rural people need to speak out in huge numbers to show that they care more about their neighbors‘ kids than they care about their support for Trump and republicans.

    15. Phog_of_War on

Well, this looks like the day you guys voted for out there in the sticks. Shame someone didn’t, you know, warn you that this would happen. Oh well.

    16. restore_democracy on

Look around you. That’s what your friends and neighbors wanted. (And in many cases, you too.)

    17. I live and teach in a rural area. I promise that most of these folks will never know the truth. They will continue to believe that Obama and Biden and the Clintons are behind all of this. They are sick, angry, and suspicious and when Fox News is on every television telling you that the democrats are to blame it takes zero effort to believe it.

It’s so difficult when I have first graders repeating things they hear their parents say. It was rough during the election. One of my students who receives several services (van transportation, reading support, speech therapy) was really excited that Trump was elected because he was “going to get rid of all the bad people in the country”. And she’s not the exception.

If rural Americans don’t get it soon, they never will. Farms are going under due to falling crop prices and increasing costs. Their hospitals are closing. At some point the cognitive dissidence is going to be too much to bear.

    19. >Trump’s bill is a ‘death warrant’ say parents of sick rural kids

… sixty percent of whom voted for Trump.

I have sympathy for the kids. The parents? Not so much.

    20. Leopards ate your faces. You hated immigrants, LGBTQ, and liberals more than you loved your own families.

    21. What is the rural vote percentage for Trump? They were warned. What more can be done?

    22. ThePrettyGoodGazoo on

They voted for it. They chose Trump over their children.
It is an abomination that the parents stupidity is going to affect the health of their children.
Here’s an idea, how about they take them to see RFK Jr. he will give them a bunch of vitamins, sunlight and ivermectin -that will fix them right up!

Rural voters got what they wanted. Apparently sick and dead children are a bonus to them.

    23. Illustrious_Post_519 on

FAFO! Those rural families overwhelmingly voted for the Orange man. Deal with it.

    24. sonicsludge on

The ones complaining are mostly the people who voted him in. We tried to warn them

    25. my heart goes out to the children as they are innocent in this matter, their parents however can get fucked, we told them this would happen if they voted Trump

    26. I feel bad for all the kids Trump is killing, but not for all the parents that either didn’t vote or explicitly wanted Trump in office. IMO their blood is on their hands as well as Trump’s hands.

    27. They are actively trying to kill us.

Our lives mean nothing to them.

They want our land, our money, our resources, our healthy children, and our future.

      Why else would they:

Disrupt effective health care and insurance,

stop vaccination programs and development (one of the most effective means to a long and healthy life ever invented),

hinder our progress towards cleaner energy and a sustainable future,

disrupt free and universal public education, libraries, and critical community services?

Unfortunately for them, without a huge thriving middle class and scientific research, US progress will stop, and their frightened, isolated lives will be as good as they will ever be.

The world is moving forward, and they are forcibly trying to return the United States to the 1800s.

It will not work, but in the meantime they are doing incredible damage. Look for the heroes and do everything we can to support all those fighting against the rape, pillage, and destruction of America.

    28. Conservatives are a cult of death and suffering (with some child rape sprinkled in).

    29. BriefausdemGeist on

Maybe they should stop voting for republicans (not all of them do, I know, but the broader rural population keeps voting for people that are abusing them)

    30. Guba_the_skunk on

Maybe rural america should have thought about this before coring from trump.
