If they get backdoors, they won’t suddenly go away when there’s another election.
And unfortunately it looks like, unless things really change over the next few years, Reform will be the next government.
I for one don’t want Farage selling access to my private life to the highest bidder.

Why can’t they just f off and let us have our right to privacy? I’m tired, and I’m sure others are too, of this government wanting to invade our privacy.

Some MP’s are all about that backdoor access when it comes to children.
If you value your privacy the best thing to do is to simply stop using the technology so much. Don’t upload your life to the internet. Leave your phone at home or turn it off occasionally. Use cash instead of card etc.
I’d like to see laws requiring iphone and android to allow you to choose which company your data is backed up to.
Ie. Google Photos shouldn’t necessarily back up to Google – you should be able to have Google Photos (the app) have the data itself stored on dropbox, amazon, icloud, etc…
