    1. It depends on what you are doing. My school teacher in Kurdamir monthly makes ₼1.3k at the school and ₼3.5k at hazirliq. Whereas a teacher at hazirliq kursu in Baku on average makes ₼1.5k.

My neighbor in kurdamir is a head of the branch of hazirliq kursu. He monthly makes minimum of ₼3k.

My taxi driver friend makes 1.5-1.7k monthly in Baku.

Some friends of mine monthly make ₼2.5-4k in Baku at different daughters of Pasha holding.

I have a relative, who is from poor family. As a foreman he makes ₼60-80k annually

I have friends who have been making more than 2.5k manats since they were 20 yo as software engineers, but I also know 45+ yo people who make ~1.2 k, or even less than 1k as engineers in production factories. It greatly depends on the firm/sector/plant you are working for. Most low level jobs just pay 300-400 manats a month (which is barely survivable on). I have an accountant friend who was looking a job, and he was saying all these people just pay 400 manats and expect you to work 12 hours a day doing the job of 4 people. But there are also stem jobs that pay >5k manats. Ofc, I am not talking about people with connections/politicians, god knows how much they make.

I get the sense that people with connections and more senior management level are making between 4000-8000/month…this is for companies like Pasha, big projects etc. However for the average schmuck with a post secondary degree and no connections it’s tough to make more than 1000-2000.

If you can find a way to leverage skills for remote work from a developed economy, the minimum wage in most is around 30,000 manat/year…just need language and marketable skills.
