Weren’t these the same people upset that some Canadians were saying we should strip Wayne Gretzky of his Order of Canada? Pick a side. Either you can or you can’t do it. I don’t necessarily agree either of them are embodying the best Canadian values at times, but it’s far too much energy arguing either should have it stripped away than it’s worth. Who cares?
I find it especially funny that the three people who have signed the letter are Selina Robinson, [removed from the BC cabinet and later resigned from the NDP for anti-Palestine remarks](https://www.theglobeandmail.com/politics/article-senior-bc-minister-selina-robinson-removed-from-cabinet-by-premier-for/), Lisa MacLeod [who was kicked out from Ontario cabinet for spending irregularities and a host of other controversies](https://barrhavenindependent.ca/2022/06/24/lisa-macleod-ousted-from-ford-cabinet/), and Kevin Vuong, [dropped by the Liberals after sexual assault charges](https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/mp-kevin-vuong-silent-on-allegations-1.6220051).
