      Led by researcher Ani Rita Brochado, a team carefully tested 94 different substances like antibiotics, medicines, and food ingredients to see how they affect E. coli, a type of bacteria that can sometimes make people sick. They examined how these substances altered the activity of specific genes and proteins that enable bacteria to regulate what enters and exits their cells.

This is a surprising and interesting discovery, I hope the people working on this will be allowed to expand their research scope to tea products, and that they are allowed to actually be thorough with their job, without being hurried. (Both are go for me, although I have been drinking more black tea recently and for a while.)

      I knew some foods can’t be combined with certain medications but this is new to me! I dont drink coffee but know folks who do, I should spread word.
