      This is intentionally misleading. Even in red states, almost every city is blue. trump and Stephen Miller’s goal is to terrorize democratic strongholds.

      I live in one of those violent red cities, and having military come here is just going to make things worse.

      If trump cared about curbing crime here, he’d muscle our politicians to try and address poverty and drug problems. But that would mean addressing actual problems, not made up shit for his little power grab.

      This is all a pretense to manufacture riots so trump can enact the insurrection act and cancel the 2028 elections. Read The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. Trump is on the exact path.

      They are trying desperately to normalize this because the problem right now is that a deployment of another state’s National Guard to a blue state would be almost immediately injuncted. They started with D.C. because it’s federally controlled. Now they are going to do consensual deployments of red state NG’s to the blue cities in deep red states. All this because they are desperate for precedent they can use to deploy troops to LA, San Fran, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, NYC, Baltimore.

      Huh; what do the Mayors of LA, DC, Baltimore, and Chicago have in common?

      The Mayor of Memphis seems to fit the mold.

      The Mayors of OK City and Baton Rouge, do not.

      People always get confused, but the truth is a lot of blue cities in red state, is much more liberal than rural area of red states. Like if you have been to long island like Suffolk county, it is pretty heavy MAGA.

      I don’t believe her. That being said, that is not the point. The point is that Trump does not have authority to send troops into domestic locations to handle crime. He is trying to go full dictator, and the press is asking about red states vs blue. Start pointing out that this is illegal and all citizens should be afraid of, and opposed to, these actions.

      MAGA will cheer the Leftish cities being occupied. Then they’ll cheer once those forces are placed on Election duties. Then they’ll be okay with elections being suspended in the name of „keeping Democrats from cheating“.

      So that’s translated as ‘we’ll occupy your problem centers to control the movement of people so when the next election rolls around we are prepared to counter a fair and democratic election…’ probably.
