    1. It is in their best interest – two massive markets, two most populous countries in the world. One shared adversary who keeps pushing them. Hope India can stay strong and not become the clearly weaker party in such a setup.

    2. Permanent borders at the defacto current borders could be great. Though I don’t have much hope regarding this.

      India still gotta back itself up, a kick in the ass to their diplomatic policy has exposed its weaknesses, China will not stop screwing over India despite these talks

      The less said about Xi the better, and Modi’s vows aren’t worth the teleprompter he reads them from. So a lot of media attention, a lot of publicity, and then a whole lot of nothingburger. Sounds familiar.

      So India is just going to cave on the borders and accept China annexing its territories? Hope they get a lot back for that
