Inspired by the Rubin Observatory’s jaw-dropping 678-panel Milky Way mosaic—one of the most stunning astro-images ever—I created my own tribute! Using a Rokinon 135mm lens paired with a ZWO 2600MC astronomy camera on a ZEQ AM5 tracker, I crafted a 6-panel mosaic, each frame exposed for just 3 minutes. Post-processed lightly in PixInsight for clarity. If the skies cooperate, I’ll head out to collect more data before the Milky Way disappears for the season!
