      Peaceful protests, continue to make their actions result in a negative public image and have a political cost in the midterms.

      Surely he had to have said „resist evil, injustice, and oppression“, right? Stupid mistake on the part of whoever wrote the article. I mean I’m just assuming but it seems like a safe assumption.

      There are good pastors and churches out there. The Catholic Church is firmly against Trump, real Christian Church leaders that practice what they preach are not for Trump. The churches that are for MAGA are the wolves in sheep’s clothing, the false profits that shall (as the Bible says) perish by sword and famine.

      Unitarians are one of the most liberal churches in the country. Good on them, but it will be more newsworthy if it came from baptists or methodists.

      Fascists come for everyone eventually.

      Doesn’t matter who you are or even if you were on their side (this pastor probably wasn’t, but who knows). You’ll eventually end up in their sights and when you do, they won’t have any qualms giving you the same treatment they give anyone that doesn’t immediately submit to them.

      Good on this pastor. Well done sir. Well done.

      Now if only there were some law enforcement folks who weren’t fascists hellbent on oppression.
