      The fact is that the government is providing financial assistance to help private companies invest overseas.

      It’s very naive to think tax money isn’t being used when Ishiba talks about private companies investment into overseas. When Ishiba promises investment, tax money is going to be used whether it’s direct assistance by the government or indirect assistance through private companies.

      EDIT: There’s is a big difference between „Japanese First“, „Japan First“, and „Japan Residents First“.

      Sanseito is calling for „Japanese First“ and blaming even foreigners living in Japan. Ishiba is probably acting in line of „Japan First“ and giving advantages to Japanese companies. However, both are not actually not helping all residents and many residents are finding it more difficult to make ends meet. For example, it is difficult for a single non-Japanese mother with children to live.
