Yes. because they own the press and they’re using the threat of leaving to attempt to ensure society is run for *their* benefit.

Great, so entrepreneurs and company founders are probably leaving, but property millionaires are not leaving. That’s bad, but it’s as I expected. Property can’t leave, but companies and entrepreneurs can.
