We are back to WW1 air combat all over again.
As insane as it sounds, Ukraine could actually need some WW2 or WW2 Style aircraft to shoot down drones.
Maybe something like the Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano? Although it does have a much higer stall speed than the Yak52
I’m genuinely shocked we haven’t seen the return of proper mounted machine guns or turrets. This is what the Boulton Paul Defiant was built for!
