    1. They should’ve kept it. As a symbol of defiance. The symbol is literally 4 thousand years older than a c**t named Adolf .

Ironically I think the replacement would look better with fewer wings…

“Okay, we have given it 80 years, but I think it is now time to admit this symbol is not going to be rehabilitated. A pity really as it is so easy to draw.”

    4. I think the opposite should be done. The Buddhists and Hinduists should reclaim this symbol.

    5. In the end hitler won. The swastika is now his symbol alone (except in asia i guess). Rip in peaches finnish swastika 1918-2025

I don’t understand why. Isn’t it better that we reappropriate the symbol and make it something positive? By pushing down and stopping with something they are just legitimizing the use by fascists.

    7. Why should we have to change? His swastika is the one that sucks! – Finland, probably.

A swastika is not a hakenkreuz (the term hitler himself used for the symbol).

    9. This reminds me of when in Japan and using Apple/Google Maps to get around, you will see the *what looks like* a Swastika quite frequently, but it’s due to religious locations

It was adopted from Swedish family coat of arms in WW1. From a Nobleman who donated the first aeroplane to FAF. Nazism wasnt even invented then.

    11. The Swastika was seen as a sign of good luck during the 1900s. If you look at photos of both sides airforces during WW1, you’ll actually see a lot of them painted on the side. Even some British aircraft had them.

    12. Don’t want any confusion, I wouldn’t want to get mixed up with Krasnov’s soldiers either.
