Here’s a thought: instead of taking away medicine, we talk about taking away the guns?
Republicans will do everything they can to not place the blame on easy access to guns. The shooter was posting tons of vile hate posts online yet was still able to legally purchase firearms. That’s wrong.
Our system failed and more lives continue to be lost because Republicans refuse to do nothing in regard to common sense gun control.
As a parent this makes me furious. It made me upset before being a parent but now it just seems insane that we live in a country that allows for these acts of terror to continue on a regular basis. It’s shameful and embarrassing.

Imagine a quarter of the country going off of their psychiatric meds cold turkey all at the same time.

I’m on Paxil. A small amount, but still. I’ve cold turkey stopped it before and ended up meeting a dead relative (hallucination). I DO NOT want to end up in the mental space I was in before I started taking them, or when I had to stop.
And my dad….holy crap, just no. He’s on SO MANY anti psychotic and anti anxiety drugs. He’s manic bi polar. I would not be able to deal with him in that state. Someone would get hurt.
I know they want to get rid of undesirables. Removing these meds from the population will NOT end well.
