This is not Ryanair’s fault for once… it’s the arrogance of the airport. The official name is “Brussels South Charleroi Airport”.
Brussels South…located in Charleroi.
Zaventem is Brussels.
Charleroi is Brussels South.
Two different names, two different places.
If Charleroi is Brussels South, then Schiphol is Brussels North
Imagine trying to upsell something by referencing Brussels.
Charleroi also has the honor of being the worst or one of the worst airports in mainland Europe, i avoid it like the plague.
