I want to hike Esja tomorrow, and take the bus from somewhere around HI. But why does it say I have to call a number for the second bus? Does the ticket not cover the entire trip or?
Sometimes for routes that have very little passenger use, they only come if people have booked their planned trip a head of time. Looks like the taxi service Hreyfill is a contractor for that route on behalf of Strætó. My understanding is that your ticket covers the trip.
The ticket covers the entire trip but like others said it’s a route that has too few passengers to have it go on a fixed schedule, instead they offer it as a service you have to book ahead of time.
This is ridiculous!
