There are many benefits that mostly relate to lower population density. Nature is always close by without having to share it with crowds of other people.
Cities are generally clean and well maintained
Crime is low (at least in cities, not considering domestic issues)

Survival skills. People in LT manage to live on with prices slightly higher than in Germany while having 3 times lower income.

It’s very clean, large amount of forests, growing your own produce is way more feasible, air pollution is low

Safety (low population of muslims), nature is everywhere and no concrete jungles because of low population density.
But please do not live here, rent is already too high.

Nature – no natural disasters like hurricanes, tornado, volcanoes, flash floods etc. Perfectly balanced – not too hot like in Spain, not too cold like Finland. Cities – on a contrary to what others said in comments, our cities are extremely clean compared to western cities. No terrorism, bombings, cars plowing into the crowds. You feel safe walking around the city. And these are only few examples out of many.

Perfect mix of civilization and nature.
Not too civilized and and still has untouched swamps, lakes and everything nice.
Looking at you Netherlands… i loved being there but it is not for me.

Better development in IT and apps related to daily life and administratition/bureaucracy. Highly developed about this. Žiogas or Citybee are very good apps working perfectly for so long already. I’m Spanish, I lived in Kaunas during 2018/19 school year and got a Lithuanian gf so I go back to Lithuania 2/3 times per year. It was more developed back then and despite Spain developed a little, remains years behind

Duration of maternity leave. I am yet to hear of a western country with such a generous maternity leave (18 – 24 months).Â

IT development. I’ve just gone throught most countries west of Lithuania (excluding the Balkans), no matter the country it felt so underdeveloped for services and infrostructure. We have an app for whatever you want to do, all services are digitalized, many services you would rarely see elsewhere (car share services, proper parking apps, public transport apps, booking stuff – you name it).
While in Austria, Vienna, which you would think would be advanced, you have to go to a tobacco store to buy a parking ticket and then mark your park times with a pen. (Just a particular example, there were 100’s of others), and felt like the farther you go west, the worse it is.

Something I heard from foreign friends coming here and noticed myself when travelling is that lithuania is super clean when compared to other countries. Not sure what the reason is for this, but it is a nice thing to brag about.

Lithuania is very advanced when it comes to e-services. Yes, e-sveikata or I.mas or city council e-services are buggy sometimes, but we really take such services for granted.
We have killed our paper god.
