    1. >A Republican Senate candidate who was booed out of his own town hall says left-wing agitators are the reason he ducked out the back door while the crowd chanted, “Shame! Shame! Shame!”

Real pathetic and cowardly that republicans can’t even face their own constituents and instead run away then blame it on an imaginary specter.

If only Alabamans would vote differently and elect better officials, but I have that sneaking suspicion come election time, if he wins the primary, all he’ll need is that magic (R) next to his name and we’ll see republicans, as ever, fall in line.

    2. What a chud.

He looks like the villain from an early 80s National Lampoon movie.

It’s great that he was getting booed. However, since Alabama is very red Republican state, won’t it take a Roy Moore type of candidate to be the Republican nominee, for the Democrats to take that seat in the Senate.

    4. Trump +55 district btw. Hard for Republicans to do town halls pretty much anywhere without facing at least some backlash.

I dunno if there’s ever been a time this many republican politicians have been booed out of their town halls. If you ask a republican who is happy with this administration what policies have been passed that benefits them, there’s no response. This is an absolute embarrassment of government. Racism is all this is with Trumps stupid tariffs to his mass deportation. Neither of those things help anybody and cutting the government departments that benefit communities is also a failure. But I guess a couple billion has come in so I guess some corporation will get that.

You know, when a red welfare state citizens are pissed, things are looking bad. How big of a rapid response team are they planning for protests? Won’t nearly be enough.

    7. The people there who voted for this or didn’t vote need to start voting like they are pissed at said congressman

      > “Have y’all seen any inflation in goods?” he asked, then seemed caught off guard when the crowd yelled back, “YES!”

      >“Anyway, you’re not paying anything on the tariffs; the shipping companies are.”.

Damn, this guy is either clueless or brainwashed. It was a perfect opening question which the followup should have asked if he could list the cost of a banana.

Is it just me or are Republicans getting booed off stage a lot lately? I’m trying to not get too hopeful but

I can’t believe he played the „Soros“ card. One thing all of these town halls have in common is that they are obviously local conservative types, and about half the crowd is usually senior citizens. Sorry to break it to you, but nobody is bussing in Antifa from Berkeley to attend your podunk town hall.

This is a little hope as Trumps police’s and actions are not popular it’s just him that people like. Once he’s gone they won’t have such a cult. For now atleast and I hope.

The first time I’ve been proud of my fellow Alabama citizens.

I’m sure that won’t last long

Republicans vote. Period. Getting Dem voters to vote is like pulling permanent teeth, but they want to sit on the internet and try to tell DC Dems what to do and they can’t do the fucking basics.

It’s Hilarisad. Like you have to get Dem voters in their emotions to vote and it’s not about emotions. It’s about qualifications. The majority Dem voters do not have their voting priorities right. They gotta like and love the person and the candidate cannot make sounds when laughing that really gets to them and they won’t vote. After that it’s THEN ‚can they do the job‘ It’s all out of order and very assbackwards.

For Republicans all you need to be is Republican and rain, sleet, snow or shine they are voting.

Like most Dems need to get the damn basics down first before they start pointing a finger and telling what someone else needs to do, they can barely line up against a candidate and they will KNOW the hot mess that is on the other side and it’s still hard?

      PRIORITIES. 🤡🤡

When did I miss that Tommy Tuberville, the stupidest man in America, wants to run for Governor instead of Senator? He has way more power as a U.S. Senator than as Governor, right?

Does he just want a job that he can golf even more than he probably does today?

Alabama seems like a Republican machine state, and the Governor just shows up at local parades and pancake breakfasts.

The state is run by entrenched, career state-level Republicans. 🤷‍♂️

    15. It’s easy for him to claim they are left-wing agitators, but did anyone in the press bother to check? All they had to do was ask the loudest ones.

I’ll bet they were all pissed-off Trump voters. People that are lied to, used, and abused tend to have the strongest feelings.

Huh, I guess a la Jon Stewart, even the “terrorist group known as *Al-abama*” hearken back to their historically anti-Confederate mountain men occasionally…

    17. Why aren’t these people getting the message?

At what point will every Republican in Congress get this treatment?

    18. Who pays tariff’s? This idiot lies and says the shipping companies. He’s either a moron, a crook or both. I know what my money is on. LOL The only true answer is to vote out every Republican that runs for office. They all stand together with their lies and cultist ways. No Republican will ever get the vote of me or my family again.

    19. Agentkeenan78 on

Imagine being a conservative who shows up to voice your anger over the state of things, and being called a „left wing agitator“ lmao.

    20. Conscious_Problem924 on

Alabama. Is a shithole. I wouldn’t let anyone in my state from Alabama. It works both ways.

    21. Ah, yes!! The ‘paid agitators’ excuse. Once – JUST ONCE – I want to see one of the actual checks they think George Soros sends to all these folks. Just once.
